The International Series, together with BingoPlus, the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC), and the National Golf Association of the Philippines (NGAP), is reinforcing its commitment to grassroots sports development through a new golf equipment donation initiative aimed at supporting young Filipino athletes.
As part of the program, 100 junior golf sets and 100 dozen golf balls will be distributed to participating golf courses under the National Grassroots Golf Programme, “Fairway to the Future.” The initiative seeks to expand access to golf for underserved youth by providing structured coaching opportunities and proper training equipment across various communities in the Philippines.
The donation drive highlights the growing collaboration between The International Series and BingoPlus in helping nurture the next generation of Filipino golfers while making the sport more accessible at the grassroots level.
“The International Series exists to create opportunities at every stage of the game, and that journey begins long before a player reaches the professional level,” said Rahul Singh, Head of The International Series. “This initiative is about supporting young talent early and giving aspiring golfers the chance to follow in the footsteps of players like Miguel Tabuena.”
Tabuena, one of the country’s top golf stars, captured the International Series Philippines presented by BingoPlus title in October 2025 before earning a spot on the LIV Golf League roster for the 2026 season as a Wild Card entry — further showcasing the pathway available for rising Filipino golfers through the series.
The initiative also aligns with the PSC’s ongoing efforts to strengthen grassroots sports programs nationwide and encourage greater youth participation in golf.
Meanwhile, anticipation continues to build for the upcoming BingoPlus Philippine Open, which is scheduled to take place from November 12 to 15, 2026 at Manila Southwoods Golf & Country Club. The tournament is expected to once again attract some of the region’s top golfers as The International Series continues to expand its presence in the Philippines.
