Casino Plus Chief Executive Officer Evan Spytma was recognized with the “Hall of Game” award at the SiGMA Asia Awards 2026, where he used the occasion to reiterate the importance of responsible gaming across the industry.
The award, presented by global gaming and technology platform SiGMA, recognizes individuals whose leadership, innovation, and contributions have helped shape the development of the gaming sector. According to SiGMA, Spytma’s extensive experience across gaming, technology, and hospitality has played a significant role in the growth of the Philippines’ digital entertainment industry.
Casino Plus operates as a PAGCOR-licensed entertainment and gaming platform serving players across the Philippines.
Accepting the award, Spytma credited the achievement to the collective efforts of industry stakeholders.
“This milestone is both humbling and deeply reassuring. I could not have done this alone—not without the game developers, partners, and government regulators who share our commitment to responsible gaming,” he said. “We know how demanding this industry can be, but that challenge is precisely what pushes us to do better.”
Spytma also stressed the importance of maintaining a balanced and responsible gaming environment for players.
“At Casino Plus, while we strive to provide a healthy playing environment, we constantly remind our players to stay in control and play responsibly—and that is how we truly win the game,” he added.
SiGMA noted that its Hall of Fame recognition honors industry figures whose long-term contributions have helped influence regulatory progress, innovation, and best practices across global gaming markets.
The award followed Spytma’s participation as a speaker at the SiGMA Asia Summit in Manila on June 2, where industry leaders discussed topics including responsible gaming, emerging revenue opportunities, artificial intelligence, search engine optimization, and evolving regulatory developments in both the Philippines and international markets.
The summit attracted gaming operators, technology companies, regulators, affiliates, and other stakeholders from across the global gaming ecosystem.
