PhilWeb Corp. is stepping into a bigger role in online gaming, teaming up with NUSTAR Online—the digital platform of the Gokongwei Group’s flagship resort in Cebu—to deliver more games directly to players.
For players, this means one thing: a wider selection of online casino content, all in one place.
The move comes after PhilWeb secured a business-to-business accreditation from Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp., allowing it to operate as a licensed technology provider within the country’s regulated gaming market.
Instead of building its own games, PhilWeb is focusing on bringing together content from multiple global studios into a single platform. This “aggregation” setup allows operators like NUSTAR Online to offer a larger and more diverse game library without multiple integrations—translating into faster game launches and more frequent updates for players.
The company is already working with international game providers to keep its content lineup fresh, aiming to deliver a steady stream of new titles alongside popular favorites.
The rollout will initially support two types of platforms: PT Gaming, which leans into digital-first entertainment, and NUSTAR Online, which carries the premium brand and player experience of NUSTAR Resort and Casino.
For players, this combination could mean both variety and quality—more games to explore, backed by a well-known casino brand.
PhilWeb says this approach allows it to support both fully online platforms and those connected to physical resorts, giving operators more flexibility while keeping everything within a regulated environment.
Company president Brian Ng described the move as a natural step in expanding its platform strategy, combining game distribution and aggregation to better serve partners across the local gaming market.
As online gaming in the Philippines continues to grow, platforms that can deliver more content, faster updates, and smoother gameplay are becoming increasingly important. PhilWeb is positioning itself right in the middle of that shift.
Beyond NUSTAR, the company has also partnered with Okada Manila and Hann Casino to support their online gaming expansion, while working with FBM to deploy thousands of offline gaming machines across the country.
