PhilWeb Corp. has announced a major expansion move, entering into partnerships with NUSTAR Online, backed by the Gokongwei family, and PT Gaming under PlayTime Entertainment.
Under the agreement, PhilWeb will supply both operators with casino content and the underlying platform infrastructure, strengthening its role as a key bridge between global game providers and local players.
The latest deals build on PhilWeb’s recent collaborations with FBM Philippines and Hann Online, the digital arm of Hann Casino Resort. These partnerships reflect a broader push to expand its distribution network across the Philippine online gaming space.
The company’s direction has shifted significantly under a new group led by Brian Ng, following its takeover from Gregorio Araneta III. Since the transition, PhilWeb has gained strong market attention, with its shares rising sharply over the past year and lifting its valuation to around P16 billion.
Ng described the expansion as a continuation of the company’s platform-driven strategy. By combining content aggregation with distribution capabilities, PhilWeb is positioning itself to deliver a more integrated solution for operators within a regulated environment.
The rollout will begin with PT Gaming and NUSTAR Online, allowing PhilWeb to tap into both large-scale online user bases and the customer network of NUSTAR Resort & Casino, one of the country’s largest integrated casino destinations.
PhilWeb has also secured accreditation from Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR), enabling it to operate fully within the Philippines’ regulated gaming framework.
This expansion comes at a time when tighter rules around mobile wallet integrations are reshaping the market. As operators shift toward compliant platforms, PhilWeb is positioning itself to provide both gaming content and system access within an approved ecosystem.
