PlayTime Entertainment is expanding into talent development with the launch of PT IDOLS, marking a new step in its effort to build a more integrated entertainment ecosystem in the Philippines.
PT IDOLS is positioned as a next-generation platform focused on discovering, developing, and supporting performers, creators, and digital personalities. As the industry continues shifting toward digital-first content and creator-driven platforms, the initiative aims to help Filipino talent stay competitive both locally and globally.
Rather than operating as a traditional talent agency, PT IDOLS brings together branding, content creation, and commercial partnerships into a single platform. The goal is to give creators the tools to grow their identity, produce content aligned with their style, and connect with brands across multiple formats.
The platform has already begun gaining traction, launching with dance-focused creator groups and onboarding 25 active creators, with plans to expand the roster to around 60 in the near future. Its presence on TikTok through @ptimeicons is also building momentum, attracting audiences beyond the Philippines, including in the United States, which reflects the increasing global appeal of Filipino creators.
According to Krizia Cortez, the launch of PT IDOLS represents a strategic move to establish entertainment as a core pillar of the company’s long-term direction.
At the same time, PT IDOLS is making entry more accessible through its dedicated recruitment channel, PlayTime IDOL (Hiring), offering a clearer pathway for aspiring creators to move from discovery to professional development.
By expanding beyond gaming into content and live entertainment, PlayTime Entertainment is investing in the next generation of creators, with the aim of elevating Filipino talent and strengthening its presence on the global stage.
