ArenaPlus is introducing a US-style tournament bracket game to the Philippines as part of its latest prediction campaign for the NBA Playoffs.
The initiative is designed to attract new users while increasing engagement among existing players, reinforcing ArenaPlus’ position in the local online sportsbook market. At the core of the campaign is a localized version of the bracket prediction format, widely popular in the United States but still new to Filipino audiences.
ArenaPlus Head Erick Su said the move aims to bring a fresh layer of excitement to basketball fans in the country, where the NBA remains one of the most followed leagues.
He noted that bracket games have long been part of sports culture in the US, and introducing the format locally allows Filipino fans to experience a more interactive way of following the playoffs.
The bracket game is part of ArenaPlus’ ₱1 billion Prediction Giveaway, a free-to-play campaign that allows users to participate without any deposit or wagers. By removing financial barriers, the platform is focusing on entertainment and accessibility while encouraging wider participation.
The format covers the entire playoff journey, from the opening round through the Finals, giving players the chance to predict matchups, winners, and outcomes across each stage. This structure is designed to sustain engagement throughout the tournament, keeping fans involved until a champion is crowned.
ArenaPlus Marketing Head Hannah Bagui emphasized that the campaign reflects the company’s ongoing effort to enhance user experience by making sports more interactive and rewarding for Filipino fans.
With the NBA Playoffs set to begin on April 18, ArenaPlus is positioning the bracket game as a new way for fans to engage with the competition—combining prediction, entertainment, and community participation in a single experience.
