DigiPlus Interactive Corp., the digital entertainment group behind BingoPlus, ArenaPlus, and GameZone, is strengthening the Philippines’ presence in global sports by securing the return of the International Series for a second consecutive year.
Following the success of its 2025 staging, DigiPlus—through its flagship brand BingoPlus—will serve as title partner of the Philippine Open, scheduled from November 12 to 15 at Manila Southwoods Golf and Country Club in Carmona, Cavite. The tournament is now officially part of the International Series calendar, further boosting its global profile.
DigiPlus Chairman Eusebio H. Tanco said the initiative goes beyond hosting a major event, highlighting its role in supporting Filipino athletes and promoting the country as a premier destination for both sports and tourism. He added that the move reflects the company’s broader vision of creating opportunities through its “Entertainment for Good” platform.
Launched in 2022, the International Series represents a major evolution of the Asian Tour, backed by LIV Golf. The series features high-profile tournaments that offer top players a pathway to the LIV Golf League, raising the competitive stakes and international visibility.
As Asia’s oldest national championship, the Philippine Open is poised to regain its standing among leading global golf events with support from DigiPlus and BingoPlus.
This year’s tournament is expected to feature a strong field of international contenders, led by Filipino star Miguel Tabuena, who also serves as an ArenaPlus ambassador. His rise to the LIV Golf League highlights the growing potential of Filipino talent on the world stage.
Beyond competition, the event is seen as a boost to sports tourism and a key moment for the continued development of golf in the Philippines. More details are expected to be announced through DigiPlus and BingoPlus channels in the coming weeks.
