The official screening and selection of candidates took place on March 23 at the New Frontier Theater, where NUSTAR Online Brand Manager Alex Barcela joined the judging panel. His participation reflected the brand’s commitment to being involved from the earliest stages, helping identify candidates who embody its values.
Following the selection process, the Top 36 candidates were welcomed with exclusive kits from NUSTAR Online, marking the beginning of closer engagement as they advance in the competition.
Momentum continued during the sashing ceremony on April 6, which formally introduced the candidates representing various provinces and cities. The event gathered media, partners, and pageant enthusiasts, and featured remarks from key figures including Irene Jose of Uniprom Inc. and Pia Roxas Ojeda-Banal, who emphasized the collective effort behind each candidate’s journey.
Adding a sense of legacy to the occasion, Vida Doria joined the ceremony, underscoring the pageant’s long-standing tradition of excellence.
