PlayTime Entertainment, through its social responsibility arm PlayTime CARES, recently hosted Miss Universe titleholders from China, Turkey, and India for a community outreach visit in Metro Manila, in partnership with Project Pearls.
The visit formed part of a cultural and media engagement initiative aimed at connecting global personalities with grassroots communities. Held in Tondo, Manila, the activity brought the delegates closer to children and families supported by Project Pearls, an organization known for its programs in education, nutrition, and community development.
During the visit, the delegates participated in a series of activities focused on children’s learning and development, including art sessions and basic literacy exercises. These interactions created opportunities for direct engagement, allowing the delegates to contribute to a more interactive and supportive environment for the children.
In addition to youth-focused programs, the delegates were also introduced to the G.R.O.W. (Giving Resources and Opportunities to Women) initiative, which provides women with skills training for sustainable livelihoods. As part of the session, participants demonstrated how to create handmade products using recycled materials, highlighting both creativity and practical income-generating opportunities.
The outreach reflects the broader collaboration between PlayTime Entertainment and the Miss Universe Organization, emphasizing the use of global platforms to support local advocacy efforts. By facilitating direct involvement in community programs, the initiative underscores the role of public figures in raising awareness and contributing to social development.
Through PlayTime CARES, the company continues to expand its efforts in community engagement, focusing on initiatives that promote education, empowerment, and inclusive growth. The partnership with Project Pearls highlights a shared commitment to delivering programs that create meaningful and lasting impact at the community level.
The activity is part of PlayTime Entertainment’s ongoing approach to integrating social responsibility into its broader engagements, working alongside both local and international partners to support sustainable development initiatives across the Philippines.
