As the NBA Playoffs continue to deliver high-stakes action, Filipino fans are getting more than just thrilling matchups—ArenaPlus has introduced an added layer of excitement with its ₱100 Million MVP Bracket, turning fan predictions into a high-reward challenge.
Launched on April 11, the free-to-play contest draws inspiration from the long-standing bracket prediction culture in the United States, where fans forecast playoff outcomes as part of the postseason experience. ArenaPlus CEO Erick Su shared that the initiative was designed to localize that tradition for Filipino audiences.
“This playoffs, we wanted to bring that experience to the Philippines,” Su said. “It’s about giving fans a chance to predict outcomes for free while competing for a major prize.”
The campaign also aligns with ArenaPlus’ broader partnership with the NBA, allowing the platform to deliver a more immersive and authentic fan experience. Through the collaboration, users gain access to exclusive content, official merchandise opportunities, and interactive features that go beyond simply watching the games.
Earlier in March, ArenaPlus introduced a more complex ₱1 billion prediction campaign that required users to forecast the full playoff results, including series outcomes. However, the MVP Bracket was intentionally simplified to encourage wider participation.
“With the NBA partnership in place, we wanted something more accessible and easier for fans to join,” Su explained.
At the core of the campaign is the ₱100 Million MVP Bracket itself—a free-to-play contest where participants predict the winners of all 15 NBA Playoff matchups. Each user is given two free entries, with no deposit or betting required.
Unlike traditional bracket challenges, perfection is not necessary to win. Instead, the grand prize goes to the participant with the highest number of correct predictions.
“You don’t need a perfect bracket,” Su emphasized. “You just need to be the most accurate.”
In the event of a tie, submission timing becomes the deciding factor, rewarding those who made their predictions earliest.
To further engage the community, ArenaPlus continues to roll out content tied to the playoffs, including its “All In Sa Arena” podcast, which streams daily at 9 PM on Facebook and YouTube. Hosted by Boom Gonzalez and Apple David, the show features guest analysts who break down matchups and share insights throughout the postseason.
With each game now doubling as a test of prediction accuracy, ArenaPlus has effectively transformed the NBA Playoffs into a more interactive experience—where every result could bring fans one step closer to a life-changing prize.
