The inaugural 2026 BingoPlus Philippine Asian Development Tour (ADT) Open tees off on June 17 at Luisita Golf and Country Club in Tarlac, bringing together 132 elite golfers from across the region and beyond to compete for a US$100,000 prize pool and an opportunity to further elevate Philippine golf on the international stage.
Ahead of the four-day tournament, BingoPlus, the Asian Development Tour, and the National Golf Association of the Philippines (NGAP) completed their final preparations with a Pro-Am event and a press conference attended by tournament organizers, media representatives, players, influencers, and BingoPlus VIP members. The Pro-Am gave amateur golfers and content creators a chance to play alongside some of the region's top professionals, adding to the excitement leading into tournament week.
AB Leisure Exponent Inc. President Jasper Vicencio said the tournament reflects BingoPlus' growing commitment to supporting local golf development and creating more opportunities for Filipino athletes.
"Golf remains a relatively niche sport in the Philippines, and that's one of the reasons we chose to support it," Vicencio said. "We want aspiring Filipino golfers to know that there are organizations willing to help them pursue their goals and compete on bigger stages."
Among the international players in the field is India's Pukhraj Singh, whose Pro-Am team emerged victorious. Singh commended the tournament's organization and noted that the conditions in Tarlac, particularly the heat, are expected to provide an additional challenge throughout the competition.
Beyond the title and prize money, the tournament also carries significant implications for local golfers. The top two Filipino finishers will earn guaranteed berths in the 2026 BingoPlus Philippine Open, part of The International Series scheduled for November, creating a direct pathway from the developmental tour to one of the region's premier golf events.
The tournament field consists of 132 players, including 82 ADT professionals, 30 golfers from the National Golf Association of the Philippines, six members of the Philippine National Team, and 14 invited participants, making it one of the strongest fields assembled for a professional golf event in the country this year.
Admission to the BingoPlus Philippine ADT Open is free throughout the tournament, giving fans the opportunity to watch world-class golf while supporting the continued growth of the sport in the Philippines. The event is expected to provide valuable exposure for local players and further strengthen the country's presence on the Asian golf circuit.
The 2026 BingoPlus Philippine ADT Open runs from June 17 to 20 at Luisita Golf and Country Club in Tarlac.
