PlayTime Entertainment, one of the leading entertainment platforms in the Philippines, has officially partnered with the Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) for the 17th PMPC Star Awards for Music following a contract signing ceremony held on June 5 at the company’s headquarters in Bonifacio Global City.
As a major partner of the annual awards ceremony, PlayTime Entertainment joins PMPC in recognizing the artists, performers, songwriters, and industry professionals who continue to contribute to the growth of the Philippine music scene.
The signing ceremony was attended by executives from PlayTime Entertainment and PMPC officers, including President Fernan De Guzman and Vice President Rodel Fernando, underscoring the shared commitment of both organizations to supporting Filipino music and creative talent.
This year’s PMPC Star Awards for Music features a diverse lineup of nominees representing different genres and generations of OPM artists, including P-pop groups BINI and SB19, as well as acclaimed singer-songwriter TJ Monterde.
“It is an absolute honor for PlayTime Entertainment to partner with PMPC and celebrate the artists, musicians, songwriters, and creatives who continue to elevate OPM,” said PlayTime Entertainment spokesperson Adela Mae Marshall.
PMPC officials welcomed the partnership, noting that the support of organizations such as PlayTime Entertainment helps strengthen the staging of the annual awards program while providing greater recognition for Filipino artists and their contributions to the local music industry.
The 17th PMPC Star Awards for Music is scheduled to take place on June 25 at Teatrino Promenade in Greenhills, San Juan City, bringing together some of the country's most recognized names in music for an evening dedicated to celebrating excellence in Original Pilipino Music.
