PlayTime Entertainment recognized the biggest winners at the 9th Entertainment Editors' Choice Awards (The EDDYS), held on July 5 at the Marriott Grand Ballroom in Newport World Resorts, Pasay City.
As the official presenter of the annual awards organized by the Society of Philippine Entertainment Editors (SPEEd), PlayTime Entertainment presented trophies and cash prizes to recipients in the ceremony's major categories, celebrating excellence in Philippine filmmaking.
PlayTime Entertainment spokesperson Adela Mae Marshall and Miss PlayTime Universe 2026 Alexandra Krishna Oriño led the presentation of awards for Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress, Best Actor, Best Director, and Best Picture.
Among the evening's top winners were Will Ashley and Rico Blanco, who shared the Best Supporting Actor award, Rochelle Pangilinan as Best Supporting Actress, Jericho Rosales as Best Actor, Jerrold Tarog as Best Director, and Quezon, which was named Best Picture.
"As the official presenter of this year's EDDYS, PlayTime Entertainment is honored to celebrate the remarkable talent and creativity of the Philippine film industry," Marshall said. "We are proud to recognize the winners in the major categories through these awards and cash prizes, while supporting the artists and filmmakers who continue to elevate Filipino cinema."
SPEEd president Tessa Mauricio-Arriola also welcomed the partnership, noting that PlayTime Entertainment shares the organization's commitment to recognizing excellence in Filipino filmmaking and supporting the local entertainment industry.
Organized annually by the Society of Philippine Entertainment Editors, The EDDYS recognizes outstanding achievements in Philippine cinema, honoring actors, directors, filmmakers, and other professionals whose work contributes to the continued growth of the country's film industry.
